It was 1974 when our country had its first gas crisis. The price of gasoline was skyrocketing, gas stations were closing nationwide, and carmakers began exploring how to develop cars that got better mileage.
But for George “Jig” Warren III and Gary “Moe” Meszaros, it wasn’t about better mileage or for that matter even obeying the new 55 M.P.H speed limit. It was about finding a home to preserve the culture of those old gas stations and high-powered muscle cars.
The original Quaker Steak & Lube was founded in 1974 in an abandoned gas station in Sharon, Pennsylvania as a “cook your own steak” restaurant. Still smokin’ hot after 40 years, “The Lube” has been voted Best Wings USA and grown to over 60 locations. Anyone looking for hot wings, great food, lots of fun and a place to be with friends & family can get their fill at The Lube.
The Tilted Kilt is basically an Irish-themed sports bar. Similar to Hooters, but the food is good. This one is right next to Colonial Harley, and hosts a bike night on Thursdays in the summer.
Colonial Harley is an excellent full-service dealership. Specifically know for their dyno services. They also have a full service bay and offer learn to ride classes.
